Ari plays with her Aunt Wendy, her Great-Aunt Sue,
and a spoon. |
Great-Aunt Sue fed Ari some chocolate cake before
asking if it was OK with Mommy -- but Mommy would never deny
her daughter cake, especially chocolate. Needless to say, she
loved it. |

Ari with G.G., her great-grandmother on her mother's
side (Grandpa John's mother). Isn't that a cute outfit she's
wearing? Isn't it appropriate for Independence Day Weekend (this
was July 3). Grand-Nan (other great-grandmother) thought so too,
which is why she bought it for Ari! |
Ari visits with the bride. Hey, how many people can
say they attended a grandparent's wedding? OK, so Ari slept through
most of the ceremony, but she enjoyed the rest of it. |

Ari and Uncle Mike. Ari will discover in later
years that we're not hurting for Mikes in her mother's family
-- besides Uncle Mike, there is Great-Uncle Mike, a cousin (once
removed) Mike and two cousins-in-law (also once removed) with
the name, although one of them tends to go by Michael. |
