Even though Ari had a festive lunch on her actual
birthday, and a cake at the Rosh Hashanah dinner, her "official"
party with presents and cake was that Saturday. Here, Ari and
Aunt Julie get ready to open presents |
The best part of opening presents? Bedecking yourself
with ribbons, of course! |
Ari received a gorgeous velvet outfit from Aunt Julie,
which she wore a lot. It was her best dress-up outfit last fall. |
But the present Ari really liked was her first baby
doll, dubbed Miss Giggles based on the noise she makes (think
Ari's laugh). |

Ari models her new hat from Aunt Wendy and Uncle Mike. |
Time to go to the table...Ari can almost make it on
foot. |
Everybody put on party hats, of course... |
...including the birthday girl. |
Aunt Julie took the task VERY seriously. |
Oh, boy cake! My favorite! Thanks, Aunt Julie,
for baking it! |
NEXT: A COZY OCTOBER |
Ari, Nanny and Grandpa Dan get a picture before
diving into the cake. |
