Ari on the Road, Part 2

Scott is on his way back from Pittsburgh -- actually from Erie, where he took in a Seawolves game, so I'm throwing up some more pictures before he gets home and demands his computer back -- sheesh, just because Sunday is NERW deadline day! So here are the rest of our New England pix:

One reason we went to Boston the first week of May was to attend the naming of Abigail Paige Kaufman, #11 in Erman Cousins -- The Next Generation. (That's in order of birth among the 10 first cousins who were grandchildren of Frieda -- so please don't take offense, Sieglers, Libersons or anyone else in the Erman clan!) Here, Ari hangs out in the living room (in Wellesley, actually) after the naming ceremony.

Ari and Abby's mother, Dana, whom I can remember when SHE was Abby's age (yikes!)

Ari with Dana and Mike. Why no pictures with Abby, you may wonder? With the naming ceremony and the swarm of family and friends, it wasn't possible to get close enough to set up a photo -- until Abby went upstairs to take a nap. I thought a candid shot might be cute, but I didn't want to be accused of exploitation! :-)

Joe and Ruth Erman -- Dana'a parents, Abby's grandparents, my aunt and uncle, and Ari's great aunt and uncle.

Ari and her Great-Aunt Sue, who seemed to enjoy her company -- maybe she wants some grandchildren of her own!

Great-Uncle Milt, who also seemed taken with Ari -- yep, I think there's some serious baby Jonesing here -- but of course, only Joanna and Brooks can decide the timing of that.

Yes, Daddy has given Ari plenty of shoulder rides, but it was still fun to play with Uncle Milt.

From Wellesley we went to Norwich, Connecticut, to visit cousins on Lisa's father's side. Technically, they're ex-stepcousins, from Aunt Rena's second marriage, but we've remained close, so the "cousins" moniker holds. We had our first official Mother's Day with them, at a restaurant full of families, many with children.

Ari strikes a pose with Daddy and Libby Aichele. Libby was a big hit with Ari, as was her brother Christian.

The whole Aichele family gathers around Ari -- Christian, Lisa, Libby and Steve.
