*It was a later than usual start to Christmas music on the region’s airwaves this year, but as soon as Halloween was over, Forever Media was first out of the gate in central PENNSYLVANIA, flipping its top-40 “Nu” stations in York, Gettysburg and Hanover to all-Christmas.
It was late 2021 when Forever launched “Nu,” running locally-programmed hits on WNUU (92.7 Starview) in the York market after acquiring the former all-sports WONN from Hall Communications. Forever also flipped two classic hits AM/translator combos, WGET (1320/93.7 Gettysburg) and WHVR (1280/95.3 Hanover) to “Nu,” running a syndicated hot AC format.
Expect a new format on the “Nu” stations next year; Forever says “Santa” will ho-ho-ho out of the region on January 2.

It’s an integrated suite that brings together automation playout, scheduling, archiving, remote connectivity, apps and streaming, for full buyout or monthly payments with ongoing support, all at a price that’s probably less than what you’re spending now.
