We’re back!

The NAB Show is getting underway in Las Vegas, but it’s just one (very big) part of two weeks of conferences, private meetings and impromptu get-togethers that just don’t materialize anywhere else.

There’s something new this year, too – MaxxRadio comes from our friends at MaxxKonnect, who are staging a complete live radio station from the floor of the show all week long. In addition to streaming, it’s on the air in Las Vegas on KKLZ 96.3-HD2. When you tune in, you’ll hear me doing short interviews with interesting broadcasters, but stay tuned – they’ll appear again in longer form here on Top of the Tower in the weeks to come!

Ahead of the show, I needed some inspiration, and so of course I turned to Valerie Geller, the president of Geller Media International and the author of Beyond Powerful Radio. She had some great thoughts about how to communicate in front of a microphone, whether it’s broadcasting or podcasting – and much more!
