It was a longer hiatus than we intended, but Top of the Tower is back with a new spring season of conversations with some of the most interesting people in radio.
We’re actually in Canada this week at Radiodays North America, but while we’re across the border, we’re bringing you some highlights of our chats at the NAB Show last month in Las Vegas, and at the Public Radio Engineering Conference that preceded it.
The brilliant Rob Bertrand is our guest for this episode. You might remember him from CBS Radio in New York or from WAMU in Washington, but he’s now with Inrush Broadcast Services, providing broadcast engineering “as a service” for stations that need specialized engineering work they can’t always carry out entirely in house.
And along the way, he’s teaching a new generation of engineers about the business and making sure they can find employment, which should matter to all of us, right?
